Living In The Background

Oooh! Did someone say this is a Saturday Squirrel shoot?

Ever try to photograph a subject only to have someone or something else pop into the shot to steal the show?  I was taking a picture of this squirrel attached to the trunk of a tree when another squirrel decided to wander onto the set to get some exposure for themself.  The phenomenon has been dubbed photobombing, and while this isn’t quite as good a photobomb as the grackle that invaded a squirrel photo I took seven years ago, it’s still kinda funny to see the little attention ho in the background peeking around his friend to say hi.  Alright, you’re both cute enough to share the honor of being this week’s Saturday Squirrels…

Have a great weekend everyone!

    • I noticed the one guy got into my photo when I took it, but didn’t see how well that turned out until I got home! Perfectly placed to look like he’s peeking out from behind his buddy…
