Do you know how many times I looked at this picture of what I thought was a lone squirrel giving me that “go away kid, you bother me” look before I noticed his buddy?
Yes, there’s another squirrel in the photo. He certainly doesn’t stand out, but I’m sure you can find him without my help…
Always be aware of those lurking Saturday Squirrels just hanging around…
Have a great weekend everyone!
Doesn’t that guy know the blood is rushing to his head when he’s upside down like that? Hope he doesn’t get a headache.
Pam
It occurred to me a few years ago that when squirrels eat on trees, they’re ALWAYS upside down. And I thought that was odd for a few minutes until I actually thought of the logistics behind it. Apparently they can’t eat with their feet…
Ha! It’s like Where’s Waldo… for squirrels.
Now I’m going to go looking for a squirrel wearing a red striped shirt…
I see him. Good camouflage! 🙂
They blend in real nicely with the bark! I have a picture from many years ago of a squirrel on a tree that you really have to strain to see, even though he’s in plain sight.
In squirrel land, there are always trespassers. The guy on the right is ready to begin the offensive. Have a great weekend.
The sneak attack worked on me, I sure never saw him until it was way too late….
Photo Bomb! 😛
The famous Camouflage Squirrel!
He’s ready for hunting season! Oh, wait…..
The other squirrel was photo bombing his buddy..lol.
He just barely got in my shot. If I’d have zoomed in more, the bomb would have missed…
They seem to be doing that thing again where they go in opposite directions on opposite side of the tree. It must be a thing after all!
And I won’t ruin the magic at all by saying that this was the photo I took immediately before last week’s….
