I’m not sure what had his attention, but he seems to be peering just under my view… which is why I played off of it looking like he’s peering at the viewers through their screens looking for treats!

My squirrels are always bright eyed and bushy tailed… but not bushy eared like the squirrels on your side of the Atlantic Ocean.

I have a picture of one eating something that looks like a french fry. It was a park photo, so there’s plenty of human food for them to scavenge from. I’ve got photos of a squirrel licking the cheese goop out of a package of snack sticks, and my sister got a video of a squirrel eating a taco once! They’ll eat anything if they’re hungry enough…
It’s hard not to want to feed them. Ours get nuts every morning.
I limit the feedings to once a week, plus any time I want to attract them for photos. I have an oak tree, so they already get unlimited acorns (after they CLANK off my roof)…
I definitely won’t feed mine anything that migh clog their little arteries!
I wouldn’t want to make a squirrel have to get quadruple bypass surgery…
That squirrel looks determined to me. You might not feed him, but that doesn’t mean he won’t steal a couple!
The squirrel can have anything he wants as long as it’s already outside. And I won’t tell him my cat’s probably too timid to attack should the squirrel sneak inside.
Those squirrels don’t bother me.

If I was walking through the woods and looked up to see a furry woodland creature looking at me like that, I would fear for my safety.
Awwwww… he just wants some peanuts! And maybe a finger or two as collateral damage…..
