Though furry critters may be warm-blooded, that doesn’t keep them from enjoying a nice bask in the sun. Anyone who has both a pet and a window knows this all too well.
This week’s Saturday Squirrel has found himself the prefect sized rock to have a seat in the sunlight on. Not paying any attention to the creepy photographer who is taking pictures of squirrels sunbathing. Enjoy your Vitamin D, dude!
Have a great weekend everyone!
He definitely found a prime spot for a nice sun bath!
Pam
Yep, and if I would have stood in his sunlight, I’d have had all kinds of things thrown at me…
You have a great weekend too, E.S. Maybe you can snow-bathe? 😉 (or has it snowed out there? I haven’t heard).
No snow here yet. This is obviously one of those winters where it’s not going to snow until January and then all flurry heck is going to break loose…
At this time of year, we’re all looking for sun puddles! Here’s hoping you find plenty of them this weekend.
I doubt I’ll find any at night while I’m working… and if I do, something’s wrong!
No sun up this way today. Our squirrels are getting ready for the first real snow of the season tonight.
😉
That sounds almost as fun as the first fake snow of the season! Almost makes me wish I still lived in the part of town that got silver flake showers from the steel mill…
If you live in Maine, anything under 4 inches isn’t real.
😉
Ahhhhh, that does make sense.
That’s a great spot for an afternoon basking. 🙂
I just hope he doesn’t get a burn…
Just don’t seek warmth in a microwave. Nobody checks the inside before starting.
Yeah, my cat will tell you that…
He’s striking the classic squirrel pose. He knows you’re there…
That’s only because squirrel eyes are in the side of their head. You can’t sneak up on one…
