It was the year we….. well, celebrated ten years of Nestiness with features like this! It was the year the Shelf critters got to pick the music in my latest countdown. 2021 was the year we began sharing weekly tidbits every Sunday, and offering up SCT inspired Share Your World questions every Thursday. It was the year X marked the spot in the Contest of Whatever, as well as the year I got to find out just how much being in the hospital sucks…

2021 was a good year for squirrels at The Nest. I have several faves in this batch. The “Photobomber” could also be “The Amazing Two-Headed Squirrel”….HAHAHA Can’t wait to see the Sandy retrospective……

I remember the Photobomber cracking me up when I took it and saw that guy had stuck his head out at the right time! Given the way they run all over the place, two heads on one squirrel body would lead to a pair of frustrated siamese twins!
