Don’t Try This At Home

BOING! BOING! BOING!

If you think those amateurs at the circus who carefully walk the tightrope with that huge balancing pole are amazing… well, squirrels laugh at that kid’s stuff.  Everyone knows that squirrels love to walk and even scurry the “high wires” of our above ground electrical infrastructure.  But how about a leap on a thin wire way up in the air?  Yep, just another day in the life of a squirrel, as this photo shows.  Here’s to this week’s Saturday Squirrel, who works without a net and certainly deserves a standing ovation from those of us in the crowd for his death defying feats of agility!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Squirrels. The original Barnum and Bailey acrobats.

  2. They are great acrobats, love to watch them hanging heads down trying to eat all the seeds from a bird feeder.

  3. They really are fearless – the ultimate high wire performers!
