Yes, it’s the same squirrel… just a bit higher in the tree.
I get lots of photos of squirrels in these exact two poses, but this guy’s face really stood out for some reason. He seems to be staring just a bit more intently at me and my stupid camera than other squirrels I capture the same way. But gosh if he doesn’t look quite captivating, especially with that extra fuzzy chest that kept him warm all winter long…

Great photos – still wearing fuzzy winter coats. We are in the middle of a winter snow/wind storm here so I’m thinking our local squirrels have snowsuits on today.
