Happy Squirrelaversary! I think even that little sleeping squirrel guy will forgive you for snapping his photo once he hears it’s a SPECIAL 500th post day with HIM as the star squirrel!

It’s funny, because I don’t even know why I checked that last night writing up the post, but I had no idea it was going to be #500 before I’d already picked the photo to use… which means our sleeping guy became the milestone squirrel via serendipity!
Now that’s something you don’t see very often. Nice shot!
It isn’t! But all that running around’s gotta make them tired!
He looks so comfortable! And it must be warmer because he’s not sleeping in his nest!
That was a reasonably warm day for early March. I think that may have been the day it hit 80…. which hasn’t happened at all since!

500 Saturday Squirrels! That’s quite a milestone. If that little fella knew, he’d be too excited to go back to sleep.
Aw, what an adorable little one! I walked by one of ours yesterday and it stopped for a second to say hello before scampering away. I thought spring was definitely springing then I woke up this morning to snow!
Hopefully no squirrels were hurt in the process of making those posts.
With the way they reproduce, you might have thousands and thousands of squirrels, all waiting for you and your camera.
