I don’t think I live in a particularly remarkable area, but I’ve learned over the years that I never know just what I might see when I take a peek out the window. A house on fire. A news crew in my backyard. A wayward turkey. Tree limbs as far as the eye can see. And those are just some of the things I’ve posted pictures of before on here that I can link to….
Another extremely weird thing I witnessed from my own window earlier this year was a squirrel playing on the neighbor’s trampoline. Squirrels tend to bounce around as they move anyway, but apparently this adventurous little fuzzball wanted a little more lift. He didn’t stay on it long… giving me just enough time to get my camera and fire off three photos, and the one you see is the only halfway decent one of the trio. But still, for such a novel sight I never expected to see (let alone capture on “film”), this Get In Shape Squirrel earned the #43 spot on my Saturday Squirrel countdown!
How fun is that! You’d think he would love the extra lift…
He can get to the top of the tree in a single bounce now…
WOW…..that’s one in a million. Bet he wishes he had his own trampoline so he could use it at the base of a tree and not have to climb up so far on his own!
Pam
They could also use it for belly flops from the upper branches…
oh how great…that’s amazing……
Now imagine two weims on the trampoline…

They play the beginning of this before every UNC basketball game and everyone there jumps around.
Yep, that’s where my earworm title came from. That’s one of the few hip-hoppy songs from the 90’s I like!
Me too!
It’s almost scary, such an energetic jumping scurrying critter on a trampoline. Good job there’s netting around it – I can imagine him bouncing off everything!
