Ho hum, just another routine Saturday Squirrel photo… this one I took Thursday afternoon of a squirrel walking on top of the fence across my backyard ditch. Nothing special or out of the ordinary here…..
Or is there?
What in the hell is that at the bottom of the photo? Tangled up in all of that brush?
Is that…..?
It looks like……
Could it be……..!?!?!?!?!?!?
HOLY CRAP!!!!! It really is an Elf on the Shelf!!! How in the world did that end up in one of my squirrel pics!?!?!?
Seriously, I was a bit discouraged that I didn’t have a good April Fools Day Saturday Squirrel post like I did in 2017…. and then out of nowhere, one of my pics gets photobombed by a discarded Christmas decoration in late March!!!
You can’t make this stuff up, folks!!!!
Have a great weekend everyone….. and remember, Santa’s minions are always keeping an eye on you!
That damn elf is everywhere!
Invading squirrel pictures is going too far. Santa’s gonna get a nasty letter from me this year…
haha That is so funny! I don’t blame the squirrel for taking off. Strange things are afoot on the fence. 🙂
P.S. I’m still wracking/wrecking my brain trying to come up with something for CoW!
I’d have run as well if I found myself being stalked by an elf! You’ve still got six days…. no pressure!
Really? Did he investigate it? The stuffing would make good nest material!
I didn’t even know it was there until I processed the pics! If he did, it wasn’t while I was watching.
Heh, heh. heh…good one! Happy April Fools Day.
Those naughty elves are taking over ALL of the holidays…
Egad, pray that isn’t so!
Okay, that is so wild…and surreal!
It’s so weird and random! And even worse, it really looks like it’s being a creepy stalker!
I know! I mean, those things are kinda freaky anyway, but seeing it like that…*shudders*
That is right where that awful elf belongs. I hate that creepy thing.
I think that brush should be turned into a bonfire, with the elf still in it!
That is hilarious! Maybe the squirrel dropped it accidently….. 🙂
Pam
Where are the elf eating otters when I need them?
Maybe it’s part of the squirrel’s stash, or he’s using it as a guard elf. Everyone needs an elf watching out for their nuts…
With the creepy look that elf is giving, I wouldn’t want its gaze near my nuts!
Just like Big Brother—he’s always watching you!
But who’s watching the watcher?
Skynet!
