Hotel Amenities

I'll bet I could get in through there and make someone's stay really memorable!

Nothing fancy for the first Saturday Squirrel of the year.  This is just a little guy I came sqturday squirrel logoacross on my baseball trip to Minneapolis in September 2011 (Twins vs. Mariners, if you cared.  Seattle won both games 5-4, oddly enough).  I was walking from the hotel lobby out to my car along the sidewalk when I noticed this cute little critter prancing along side me, not paying me much mind at all.  My squirrels back home would have already run for their lives had I been even half as close to them as I was to him.  He was patient enough to wait for me to dig my camera out of my pocket and take this picture of him.  The area around my hotel in Richfield, MN looked a bit shady, but this is the only hotel I’ve stayed at in the past 5 years which featured its own resident bushy-tailed rodents!

Here’s another picture I took the morning I left.  I don’t know if it’s the same squirrel or not…

Gee, I sure picked a bad place to nest! And I can't even get room service out here!

Hope your Saturday is going better than mine is….

A hotel for, I mean WITH, squirrels sounds like a 5-star resort to me! =)

Check your bill to see if the squirrels came gratis or if they charged you a resort fee for them…:P

  6. Interesting accommodation. Also I am sooo glad I found out about “squirrel picnic” OMG. We do a lot of that sort of thing around here!! It is amazing to see others doing Amigurumi. I am taking my son to Japan in April for a week which I think might be the birthplace of both “cute” and Amigurumi.
He loves all comics and also manga.
