The Top 30 Weird Al Parodies

Every Monday from April through October 2023, The Nest is featuring my Top 30 favorite song parodies recorded by the legendary “Weird” Al Yankovic.  Only the 69 actual songs of his that directly parody another artist’s song, and which have been released on one one of his many albums, were considered for this countdown.  Songs are judged based on how well they play off of the original material, the clever ways in which they poke fun at pop culture, and overall humor.  I tried not to let the music videos of those songs that have them affect a song’s placement, but that probably seeped in to some of the rankings as well…
