Some people vote to make a difference. Some people vote because it’s their duty. Some 
people vote because they particularly like or dislike the candidates. I vote because it gives me an excuse to get some exercise.
Walking is my preferred method of getting to the polling place, and this year it just happened to be at the end of the bike trail I regularly traverse. It was on that jaunt this past Tuesday that I ran into this week’s Saturday Squirrel! This guy had plenty of time to bolt from me had he wanted to, but as you’ll see, he was carrying a rather large payload and wasn’t about to ditch it to flee from this meddling cameraman.
Two feet good! Four feet bad!
Here’s a great shot of him standing on his hind legs! Look at the size of that nut he has in his mouth! That will feed him and his whole family for….. well, who am I kidding. Squirrels are pigs, and that nut was probably history before I passed by again after failing to elect Buster President.
My friends have told me about this creepy guy and his camera. I better keep a safe distance…
He did stop just long enough to give me one more great picture of him…..

Satisfied with the knowledge he would be immortalized as this week’s featured squirrel on my blog, and probably getting a bit hungry for his bounty, our little friend took off like a rodent out of hell…
