OK, I’m not exactly a fan of the Denver Broncos.  In fact, I generally hate all of the teams in the AFC West, because no division’s teams in the NFL are better at burning me in the weekly football pool than the residents of the western part of the old AFL.  But last week the Broncos took on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the playoffs, and as you may have picked up from some of the past character descriptions, there is definitely a Colorado contingent on my main forum.  Since the Stillers also have a large (and annoying) voice there, and a wonderful idea for a rally avatar popped into my head, I came up with the graphic above last Saturday.  Above you will see one of my better rendered images of one of my lesser seen, but more fascinating creations that goes by the name of Rainbow Donkey.  RD’s odd past will be the subject of its own future post, but here the resident unicorn of the gang struts his stuff as the white bronco (Not to be confused with OJ Simpson’s white Bronco) who for many years filled out the orange D in the Denver logo.  It’s colorful, cute, and quirky… just what I strive for in my artwork, and only Rainbow Donkey could get me on the Broncos bandwagon for the rest of the playoffs.  He’s already worked his magic once (Where did you think Tim Tebow was getting his magical powers from?), and he’ll need to be at full snort tonight if Denver is going to stand a chance in New England….
