So I’m currently smack dab in the middle of nine nights in a row off from work.  One of my goals I wanted to accomplish while I was off was to get some more new designs into my CafePress store, which I’ve terribly neglected for about the past month of so.  Needless to say, I didn’t so much as add a pixel to the shop during the first four days off, and I was getting pretty upset at myself…

But, thanks to my crazy “sleep when I’m tired, stay awake when I’m not” schedule I’ve been on the past few days, I woke up at 3:00 AM this morning, and other than eating and taking a nice half hour walk outside, I have literally been perched right in front of this computer for the last 12 hours…. and I am happy to say that I have already added SIX new designs to the store!  And with any luck, that number will increase before I wind up collapsing in bed whenever later tonight.

The picture I led off today’s post with is an avatar I drew for my forum a few days ago, when a discussion of teaching physics came up.  The backyard physics lesson seemed like a novel idea to add to my store, and the bigger, cleaned up version is one of those six designs I churned out today!

What most normal people would consider a successful week off from work.

I also cleaned up the layout of the front page, mainly moving all of the different character sections into one main section so they don’t clutter up my store window.  Please click Atomic ES over on the sidebar to check out my store and see what’s new!  I’m really trying to spice up my selection to find something out there that may appeal to the masses.  Lord knows I could use the sales, as the dearth of buyers was one of the reasons I hadn’t been devoting time to designing…

Now if only I could get going again on that damn zodiac series….
