Top of the mornin’ to ya! Good fortune has fallen upon you on this St. Patrick’s Day weekend! No doubt you came by The Nest today to see who would be honored as this week’s Saturday Squirrel, and who should it be but the Good Luck Squirrel! This furry little leprechaun was seen prancing through my backyard recently looking for the pot of gold he buried last Fall. Surely it’s somewhere under one of those leaves! How lucky must I have been to encounter this green squirrel, and get his picture to share with all of my favorite laddies and lasses who follow my blog? May your cup runneth over, and may the branch rise to meet you….
Have a joyful and lucky weekend!
I betcha he poops green squirrel turds.
But they are good luck turds!!!!
No rubbing them for luck though.
You can wear them around your neck once they dry though….
Ah yes, petrified turds. This seasons must have.
is there a little green flying saucer in your back yard (probably nut-shaped, in a high-tech sort of way)? cuz then we’ll know that Sparky was right all along; first the Zombie Squirrels – then the Aliens. We are doomed.
Or! Or he could just be bi-racial, the product of a leprechaun/squirrel forbidden love. i think you need to look into both possibilities. call 911. see what they have to say about it.
They’d probably lock me up in a room with pillows on the walls and give me one of those funny jackets…. again……
Hum, sure hope he finds that pot of gold, and if not I shall let my sheriff squirrel know! Good luck!
He looks like a St. Paddy’s Day pimp in that hat.
Put a squirrel on the corner to make a pile…

Thank you!
Most welcome!
I’m not sure which I like better: His nuclear-fallout green color or his adorable little hat. Either way, what a cutie-pie he is!
He is! And I bet he glows in the dark….
Wow! America sure is an amazing place! May the wind always be at your back! :). Lovely Squirrel and I would scritch him “no worries”
