Heeeeere, Sparky, Sparky!
Since I am both sick and tired (literally, not figuratively), today’s Saturday Squirrel, and milestone 200th post for this blog, will be rather short and sweet…
Today we have a picture I took of another picture. What sense does that make, you ask? Every year, I get a new calendar for Christmas with photography of squirrels as its theme. The rather devious looking rodent you see above graced the month of November 2010, and I couldn’t get over how perfectly evil looking he is! Just what does the real evil squirrel have in mind with that pine cone he’s rather tauntingly holding in his paws… as if he might lob it at an unsuspecting human or animal at a moment’s notice? Not that squirrels would EVER think of throwing things at other innocent creatures….
And they thought that was a meteor last week…..
As much as I loved that evil calendar squirrel, consider how surprised I was to open this year’s calendar and see the very same picture was gracing the month of February! Yes, once again, I am haunted by this creepy sciurine… who is peeking over my shoulder as we speak. Given the way I feel, maybe he should bonk me in the back of the head with that pine cone….

Happy 200th post!! That is amazing and incredible!! I’m sorry you’re not feeling well, though. I hope you recover quickly — and that you’re able to get some rest. That little “evil” squirrel is sure a cutie. What a fun way to start the day. Plus, he’s obviously a rock star. He’s on calendars everywhere! 😀
