I’m preparing to head out of town for the next four days, which is the primary (but not only) reason I haven’t had time to post anything the last 3 days… and obviously my usual weekend obligations will be in jeopardy as well. Except for the comic, of course! I just spent the last few hours getting that out of the way, and I’ll always make sure that gets up every Thursday come hell, high water, or power line chewing squirrels….
Before they get too far into the distant past, however, I’d like to acknowledge those bloggers who were kind enough to pass along awards to this here squirrel blog the past week. First Evarel, who nominated me for the Versatile Blogger Award…. thank you so very much! Also, Fransi at the Three Sixty Five blog thought of me for an award I have not yet seen before, The Sunshine Award! While it’s been my practice lately to appreciate but not officially accept blogging awards, this is one I may have to actually do a post on in the future. Of course, when I think of Sunshine, my thoughts usually turn to something like this….

With any luck, the roads between St. Louis and Oklahoma will be more snow free than they’ve been the last week or so. I’ll try to at least put up a Saturday Squirrel post, but if I don’t get around to it, have a great weekend!
