Rainbow Quadricorn?

Live from Chernobyl…

My Mom & Dad are some of my biggest fans here on my blog, likely because it’s the closest they can come to creeping on me since I don’t (and never will) have a Facebook account.  But when they were given this glass as a gift a few nights ago at one of the local casinos, they thought I might enjoy it more than they would… and I have to say, it is quite unique.

The Quadricorn has become the unofficial mascot for Ameristar Casinos, of which the local version is our casino of choice when any of us feels like losing a bunch of money having a little fun.  The glass was a freebie they were giving away, and I guess my Dad was special enough to get one.  While he is certainly pretty to look at, alas, the Quadricorn still has nothing on my Rainbow Donkey…

Speaking of Rainbow Donkey, given his spurt of popularity lately, I realized he was seriously lacking in that Cafepress shop of mine of which a link still lurks on The Nest’s sidebar.  So I took some time to give RD his own section and tested out a new mouse with a few donkicorn designs I uploaded over there.  I’ll try to throw up some more Rainbow Donkey stuff for my CP shop in the near future.  Hey, I actually made $1.88 this week on a couple Marketplace sales of some old crap I had uploaded!  Gotta see if RD can maybe boost that up to $2.88….

    Oh yeah!! Rainbow Donkeh!!

We have an Ameristar across the river where my step kid lives so we deal with a ton of tacky quadricorn commercials. I feel your pain.

    • It pissed me off when those commercials were showing on Hulu at the time I was catching up on the old Dragnet shows a couple years ago! I got so sick and tired of seeing them. Nothing against the Quadricorn, but the dude he hangs out with is a putz…

Most commercials anymore just annoy me. I realize they have to cater to the lowest common denominator, but really? Has America become that mentally stunted?

  3. I prefer Donkicorn myself, but that glass is certainly precious!

Rainbow Donkey for the win!! Perhaps the quadricorn is his unfortunate fifth cousin … or something. 😛

Yay! I made what passes for a mental note the other day that I need to get some Angel wear for my new niece for Christmas and that I need a new Lil t-shirt. I might need to add some Rainbow Donkey to my Santa List….

There’s a lot of need in that paragraph, isn’t there? Ha!

For anybody that’s wondering (and even more so for those that aren’t), as marvelous as ES’ art is on your screen, it’s even more kickass on a shirt, mousepad, glassware, whatever. Be the cool gift giver this year!

    Rainbow Donkey kicks quadricorn butt!

  7. How did a quadricorn become their mascot? I’m having trouble imagining the conversation that lead to that

  10. I know what everyone will be getting for Christmas this year… “That’s cool but it’s no RAINBOW DONKEY!” T-shirts! And Rainbow Donkey golf balls, flasks, lunch bags, wall decals, and Christmas ornaments. Something for everyone. 🙂
