My friend Kim Gilby from the Millionaire message board (who I know as Jessie) has allowed me to share some of the squirrel pictures she has taken in the past, and she has come through again with another awesome sciurine photo, this one from a trip her family took to Disney World back in August. They were being entertained by the one and only Sleeping Beauty, when suddenly the totally adorable little guy you see above came out of nowhere and scurried up to the princess. According to Jessie, Sleeping Beauty’s minions started to spring to life to shoo away the party crashing cutie, but the modern day princess headed them off at the pass, and remaining true to her character, she bent down to talk to the little fella! This was the scene Jessie captured, and kindly gave me permission to use on my blog. It is an absolutely delightful and happy-making photo! I can’t thank Jessie enough for allowing me to share it with you all! So for having the guts to walk right up and introduce himself to royalty, this squirrel has more than deserved the honor of being this week’s Saturday Squirrel!
Congratulations, smiling rodent! You’ve just won this week’s Saturday Squirrel honor! What are you going to do next?
He’s going to Disney Squirrel of course!
Have a magical weekend!
That Sleeping Beauty, she gets all the attention!! Love this!!!
Such is the life of a princess!
Thank you for the happy-making today, ES. So cute.
I couldn’t agree more! Glad it brought a smile!
AW! That’s so sweet! And an excellent photo!
It is great! Every once in a while, I have to share someone else’s excellent squirrel pictures so you don’t have to suffer through all of my shitty ones… 😉
Judging by his look of rapt attention, little squirrel certainly seems enamoured of the lovely Miss Beauty!
Yes indeed! And only a squirrel could get a genuine princess to bow to him rather than the other way around!
How wonderful. The We all loved it over here.:)
This squirrel is an international sensation!
Great photo and kudos to the Princess for taking the time out of her busy schedule to say hi! Good one Jessie!
