Much better. Now I can turn on the heat.
Had to go dig up this week’s Saturday Squirrel from three years ago when there was snow on the ground. During the mini hot spell we had earlier in the week, I discovered my AC 
wasn’t working. And after two visits from the repair people, they found out I had a freon leak AND it was deep inside the unit where it was going to be too costly to repair. So after just ten years of service, I get to buy another new central air unit. Of all the home repairs I was planning on doing with the Mecca stock I cashed out last year plus this year’s unexpected windfall selling AI art…. this is NOT one I was counting on. At least it’s only a third of the infamous plumbing project from 2019-2020….
Oh, and between the upcoming holiday weekend and it being their busy time of the year… there’s no telling when I’ll actually get it up and running. Good thing I have a lot of fans…
Anyway….. chill out like this guy and have a great weekend!

Cute squirrel. Happy Saturday! Hate to hear your A/C quit working, and of course on a holiday weekend. We went through that awhile back, during the heat of the summer. Try to keep cool! 🙂
Oh no, major home expenses like that are always unwelcome. Sorry. Hope you’ll be chill-axin soon enough as summer temps begin to heat things up already. Stay cool.
Ouch. But at least you have central air to repair… we just man handled two window units into place the other day when the temps reached 90. I hate them, but they’re necessary now that summers are hot here.
Awwwwww. Burrrrrrrrrrr. Wishing you the best with your AC. Yikes when the summer comes it comes like a heard of elephants. No gentle transitions – it just hits whenever it wants to.
I can use the chill. It’s HOT here. But isn’t it always the hottest when the A/C decided to quit?
Yikes…..not exactly a CHEAP fix is it. Why is it just when things are balancing out, looking good, calming down, all hell breaks loose? Must be one of those laws of nature I’ve heard about!

Ah, to live somewhere warm enough to need aircon… I bet that squirrel could do with a couple of heaters.
Not only that, but to live in a place where you might need the air conditioning one day, and the furnace the next. Who knows, we may ever get a day where we have to run both at the same time…
Ugh, that’s a big but necessary repair. Love this little guy!
