No time for an in depth post today, but I couldn’t let the day pass without a subtle reminder that October is National Squirrel Awareness Month! It lightens my heart to see that many of my fellow bloggers are already aware of squirrels, and most of them in a positive way!
Squirrel AWARENESS, not appreciation….
So while you’re out and about during the month of October, be sure to pay some attention to your sciurine pals as they scamper about looking for nuts. Let’s make the world a happier place one squirrel lover at a time….

Yes! They even have their own Appreciation Day, January 21st! Of course, every day is a great day to appreciate our fuzzy little friends!
