Your cup runneth over with cuteness!

Here’s a picture all of you fans of my weekly comic should appreciate, as it contains both of my recurring sight gags.  I happened to be doing a little shopping on lunch break last night, and while walking toward the back wall to pick up some cat litter, I noticed the cutie above hanging out with the dog chew toys.  While I have many squirrels, a couple raccoons, and even a fabric softener bear… one critter I did not have in my collection yet that I desperately wanted was a possum.  I couldn’t resist this one.  While he doesn’t bear all that much of a resemblance to that cartoon megastar Buster, he still commands the attention and affection of my little brown menace.  And given the space constraints on my knickknack shelf, the only reasonable place to put him was sitting in the Rainbow Donkey mug I ordered for myself through my store last year.  This duo’s been entertaining my blog’s visitors for some time, and now I can have them both looking over my shoulder… no doubt crying whining begging pleading suggesting a little face time every Thursday, and of course a raise in pay.  At least I can satisfy them both on one count….

And so, in lieu of a squirrel this Saturday, I hope you enjoy the picture of Buster perched atop his Rainbow Donkey mug!
