  1. Great comic, love the lunch boxes. Also the chalk board with it’s deep messages. Fair Dinkum! πŸ™‚

Great stuff! I especially like the motivational poster and the messages on the blackboard (we call them “blackboards” over here in the UK regardless of the colour) πŸ™‚
    And of course Wiki’s lunch…

  3. PigLove says:

Snorts – I love it! Wiki is great. XOXO – Bacon

I agree with GS, those lunchboxes are awesome! And the motivational posters, and all the little touches you put it. I love the attention to detail, and after I enjoyed the overt hilariousness of the comic I could go back and get all the little treats hidden in the frames. Thanks for another great one ES!

    • I love throwing Easter eggs into my comics! This is the second time I’ve used the classroom venue, and both times I’ve littered the chalkboard with random silliness and blogger shoutouts, as well as put some kind of poster hanging up in the back of the class. I think that will become a trend now, and I need to do more classroom scenes! Thanks for the comments! πŸ™‚

  5. Have you been watching Australian politics, by any chance? Every one of our pollies this election was cranking the “fair dinkum” thing – despite it being a pretty outdated, rarely used term that makes a lot of us cringe. Some friends even told me they’d vote for whoever stopped using the phrase

    • HeeHee, pretty funny when you consider a politician and the “fair dinkum” concept in the one sentence!

      • LOL! I guess Australian politicians are no different than ours in the US!

To answer your question, Andy, “fair dinkum” is one of the first bits of aussie lingo I picked up from Gentlestitches when I first started picking up a following, and using that phrase has kind of been a running gag on my blog. I know it’s at least the third time I’ve worked it into a comic….

And it is always 11:11! LOL! Thanks ES!
