DJ from The Matticus Kingdom is holding a contest this week for signed copies of his new book “Fauxpocalypse”, and today’s contest was a scavenger hunt of sorts. Readers were to search far and wide over the vastness of the internet to find images that best represented six different terms relating to his blog. Rather than leave 6 links in a comment to the post, which is the quickest way to get sent to the Spam pugatory of Akismet… I decided to post my entries over here at The Nest, with a pingback to the contest post.

Darn my job, getting in the way of me participating today LOL.
I would assume since it falls under jurisdiction of The Kingdom, that the contest will be decided by edict. I missed two of the other contests, but I’m glad I caught this game, and that it was on the one day I had the time to whip out some new artwork!

Though, quick question, was the Little Prince being thrown off the cliff … or was he the one doing the throwing?
It’s a takeoff of the famous Lion King scene, which should explain how it fits…. though I wouldn’t trust that possum to hold me up over a cliff!

And now that you’ve mentioned it does look more like holding the little one aloft, rather than preparing to toss him over the edge. What can I say, sometimes my mind sees the darkness before the light. 😛
