The idea for this comic as well as last week’s Mardi Gras cartoon both popped into my mind the same night a couple weeks ago. Can you tell where my mind must have been then? And this strip contains the real shoutout I was planning for you P. Squirrel! 🙂

HaHa I want a rainbow, unicorn, donkey. Also is that book about Ms Borden? LOL
LOL! I knew your ATTD would spot that! It’s a shoutout to one of my friends on my message board (search my site for “vandal”, I did a post on him a year ago) who published a short novel called Dizzy Miss Lizzie, which was inspired by Ms. Borden! Anyway, his publisher went bankrupt and hasn’t paid him his royalties even though they are still trying to sell the book. So he is trying to get his rights to the book back, and “Free Lizzie!” has become a rallying cry for us…
And really, who wouldn’t want a rainbow donkey? 🙂
Oh that poor friend! I hope it all ends well for him and he gets to laugh about it some day (when it has been properly published).
Felled by the arrow of love 🙂
ahhhh, love amongst the furry critters …
LOL! Love it!!! What is Buster eating? It reminds me of a rotten fish popsicle… or maybe a trash-sicle?
LOL! Maybe that’s it! It’s definitely a reference (make that one of two references!) to Katy Perry you’ll find in this comic…. 😉
