This is the kind of look I’d have expected to get out of crazy Spilly, not his seemingly more refined brother Ody. This picture was taken only three days after I brought these two furballs home, and just fifty or so days since this dodo was hatched. You could cut out Ody’s head in that photo and use it as a fine tongue-out emoji. Or perhaps he’s trying to channel his inner Einstein. Regardless, this is an adorably cute picture of a kitten being a kitten. Yeah, I can embarrass my cats by showing off their baby pictures…
Embarrass a cat? Ha ha ha!
Yeah. They’ll just turn up their nose at the computer screen and then go find a way to get even…
at least your cats are no nekked babies… my parents presented a boyfriend a pic of me nekked on a slide… plan succeeded, guy over all hills…
Every parent holds those pictures for blackmail. Now they can put them on Facebook…
He has that wild go for the Friskies look in his eyes. That, or your ankle. With kittens, it’s hard to tell.
I don’t think it’s the ankle since Ody has never bitten me before. Which is more than I can say for his brother who was once licking my nose then decided to take a big chomp out of it…
He really is a cutie…….as adorable as kittens are they are sometimes tough to capture at JUST THE RIGHT MOMENT! You did.

It was a very lucky shot. Maybe not so lucky for Ody, but definitely for me…
Awww, so cute! Kittens are so adorable. Ody looks like Trouble did as a kitten, only Trouble had freakishly big ears.
Ody has grown up freakishly big. It’s hard to believe he was once that little while he was in my house. And Biskit is so small for a male cat… they’re really a Mutt and Jeff team. I didn’t have Biskit when he was a kitten, but I wonder if he was the same size at the same age Ody is in that photo. It’s weird that one would blow up into a mountain lion (as my sister calls him) and one would be turn into a skinny little runt…
Even refined critters need to channel their inner silliness from time to time. Too much seriousness is just too boring.
I’m sure the refined class would rather keep such flirtations with the silly side of things out of the public eye to save their fancy reputations.
It looks like he’s just unexpectedly skidded over on the slidy floor.
I think if he actually tried that on my floor, he’d get his paws caught up in all of the grime…
“Safety grime, now available in a spray can for your convenience…”
Kitty yoga stretch?
Holding that tongue out for so long is the hardest part of this pose…
