One of the reasons I could spend so much time on my blog the past couple months adding new material and bringing in new ES fans is because I had tired of my CafePress store that was the whole reason I created this blog in the first place. I even dismissed it enough that I didn’t bother to attempt to capitalize on the holiday season to bring in some extra money, despite having a few customers asking for commissions. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I truly believe the best way to kill your passion for something is to rely on it for money. It’s the reason (along with a lack of patience) I could never try to make this what I do for a living, and why I will always have my night job…
But I can be distracted at times to give it a whirl, and I had a couple surprise sales trickle in over the last few days. So with the new month ahead, and a fresh start on maybe triggering CP’s monthly sales bonus, I have decided to focus my energies on the store again for the next few weeks. I have already added a few character ornaments to the shop today, and will begin working on finishing up some of the things my other online peeps have been asking about.
What that means for my blog is that I probably won’t be as active here for at least the next 2-3 weeks. I’ll still have the Saturday Squirrel and of course my Thursday comics everyone seems to be enjoying. I’m sure I’ll have an additional contribution from time to time, but just in case I go more than a few days without a post, you know what’s going on….

Art matters but money matters too!!!!!! See you over at the shop.
good luck and best of wishes 🙂
Does this mean you are buying me a Christmas present this year ES 😉
I…. um….. er……. LOL!
But damn, you gave me an idea for something I oughta try to add to the shop!
Well, I’ll give you time to think about it, ok 🙂
But I gave you the bestest present anyone could ask for, a shoutout in my comic strip! Could I top that with diamonds? Furs? Convertibles? T-shirts? Of course not!
