Those of you who have been around my blog for at least a year now may remember I staged a brief boycott of the furry little critters this blog is supposed to be centered around last October. For about a week and a half, I altered what at the time was my header to what you now see atop my blog, refused to even utter the S-word on my blog, and dropped all appearances by my sciurine characters… even in the one comic that I drew during the boycott.
I told myself I would be more patient this year… but enough is enough. The temporary October boycott of bushy tailed rodents is officially on at The Nest. Why? Because I’m still bitter….

But I still owe you some Saturday cuteness, and while I was going to use this for my still-planned continuation of last Sunday’s post about cuteness, I thought it would make a perfect Saturday fill-in! What would you get if you crossed the spawn of Rainbow Donkey and Sparklepony with the dog from the movie Up? You would get what you see above, which is so adorably cute that it isn’t even funny! It’s a Sparkledonkiconripuppie! Now there’s something that’ll make me smile while I keep hoping my annual October baseball demons will quickly go away….

Everytime I watch any sport the team I root for (randomly decide to chose as the one I like based on their name or uniforms) loses, so I’m banned from games. Which seriously works for me since I hate sports 😉

Eh, I wasn’t really ripped off, it just feels like I was. But I will keep looking at Sparkledonkicornipuppie and continue to smile, and soon it will be November!
