If you are referring to the hyperactive squirrel Sully, that’s his hip “tat” that almost all of my character’s have. His is a fire hydrant because he (and his twin sister who also appears on occasion) were born out of a story I read about two squirrels in Oklahoma being rescued from the charred remains of a tree that was burned by a wildfire.

Just like anyone texting and walking. How about a squirrel crossing while texting? Would he ever make it to the other side? What if the crossing guard AND the drivers AND the other pedestrians were ALSO texting, eh? Serious mashup? Demolition derby? Inquiring minds can’t stop laughing long enough to find out 🙂

HA HA HA HA!! Stupid squirrels are forever committing suicide here. I had never killed one before I moved back to Texas and I have hit 3 in the last 2 years. I can’t tell you how many I have stopped for!!! grrrrr….
I have a “I Brake For Squirrels” bumper sticker on my car that I made for my shop that lets people know I will save the poor things… I somehow even managed to save one that I know had to travel under my car, but I managed to avoid hitting him with my tires….
I would never hit one on purpose and “I brake for squirrels” all the damn time”! LOL! In fact….. Twice today!! It’s distressing to hit any animal. I have hit 2 deer and one of them was Bambi! No lie…it was a little buck with antlers. I cried…… 😦
A coworker told me yesterday about how she saw a squirrel crossing on a crosswalk the other day. She came to a complete stop until he passed. Most aren’t that skilled though.
I mean, most squirrels aren’t that skilled… not coworkers. 🙂
LOL, I know a lot of unskilled drivers who would leave a lot of flat squirrels in their wake.
Maybe we should put those “Walk” buttons way down on the poles so that squirrels can reach them…
