I Posted At Merby’s Place!
I Was FIRST!
Fantastic – love it. Just about sums up many parents. . .
I thought my readers in the teaching field would really love this one!
When my daughter was in the 3rd grade they sent me a letter saying they thought she was gifted. I was all like how the hell did that happen, I am of average intelligence and her father is a moron. Erin is adorable. xx
They said I was gifted too, and my Mom and Dad got a good laugh out of that….
Did you by chance read the chalkboard?
No…
You missed out on the Easter egg again!
Where, I don’t see an Easter egg?
If you can’t read the writing on the board in the first panel, try clicking on the image of the comic itself so you can view it at full size. I think you’ll see what I’m talking about…
I have to stay after class? 🙂
Seems like it! 😉
You have to watch my comics, because I like to slide little personal shoutouts into them on occasion. The first one I did for your benefit was in the pigladillo cartoon 2 weeks ago, but you didn’t notice the note on ES’s desk…
Gentlestitches can teach you about ATTD (Attention To Tiny Detail), she is a master at finding my Easter eggs…
Wow I had no idea!! I feel so special..that warm feeling..kinda hurts a bit..;) What did I do wrong, by the way?
I don’t know… but I’m sure it’s on your permanent record now!
I am innocent. 😉
Send me the link for the pigadillo one..:)
Well, where is my gift, eh?
It probably got confiscated by the post office, since only a terrorist would send something in a Tampax box…
Aw, you shouldn’t have!! LOL
in regards to today’s comic: wicked funny.
Thank you!
Oh PLOL – that is too funny. I’m directing my aunt Tina to your page. She find this most hilarious being a teacher. You are too much you evil squirrel and I love it! XOXO – Bacon
YAY! I’m sure Aunt Tina will love it!
Made me smile!! =) Thanx!
You’re welcome!
HA! Love it. Honestly I’d rather drink warm beer (and I’m American so that’s a big deal) than be a teacher today. Between the parents who think their kids walk on water to the the parents that just “aren’t there” I’d be hitting the hooch in the teacher’s lounge before lunch. Hey… I’m sensing a theme here. Must be time for a cold one! Thanks for another chuckle 🙂
Oh! By the way… you were totally right on the Shop ’til You Drop thing! I was thinking of Supermarket Sweep. Yes, the turkeys and diapers!! I think the other one had more home decor and furnishings and stuff. I think you had to do some sort of physical challenge too, kind of like Nickelodeon’s Double Dare but for adults… lol.
I just tried to comment twice on your blog post about beaches, and neither time ti showed up! Any ideas what may be happening?
Hmm… I don’t know. It looks like maybe they got delayed. But I did finally get them. Thanks! 🙂
Glad you liked it! I’ll take my job stocking shelves to teaching any day. Those who educate are truly heroes…
Perfection — and oh-so-funny!!
That’s what I aim for! 🙂
but.. but.. the teacher obviously speaks two languages! Doesn’t that make her smart!
I don’t know…. that’s written at about kiddie level. It was probably added by the child prodigy!
Ah yes! I do believe you are right!
HA! What a thought! This is very amusing.
