Esteemed Guests of the Nest
I Was FIRST!
Your internet expert on xxxxxxxxxxxl!
That possum in the last frame is warm at least…
Yes, he will be toasty at medium-well!
We’ll get there fast, but then we’ll take it slooow….
I think the natives of this island would have Mike Love boiling in the pot in no time. That might be a good thing….
Haha! Gawd, I hate the Beach Boys….
I read the yellow snow …
Eeeeeewww!!! Don’t say I didn’t warn you! 😉
PETA will be knocking on your door; adorable pigladillo left to freeze, Rainbow Donkey’s head on a wall and Buster as the main course!
I’ll show them all the meat in my freezer!
idolization – snorticles. XOXO – Bacon
Bow down before The Snowcritter!
Dammit, I read the yellow snow which I was then warned not to read but I had already read it… ooh, my aching head 😦
A thought-provoking piece on different cultures’ perceptions on civilised behaviour… ahem.
🙂
Civilization is all relative…. and there is none of that nonsense here at The Nest!
LOL!!! Everyone thinks their way of doing things is the “right” way and every other way “odd”
Except on Fair Dinkum Island. They don’t “think” they “know” 🙂
Great comic and great insight into what is considered civilized. My gorgeous outback bogan relatives are hilarious in what they consider is “proper” behaviour. Glad to hear you don’t entertain such notions at the nest!! ;-D
We operate by the law of the jungle… er, the law of the tree here!
You remind me of Pogo! I don’t know how come I didn’t notice before, but I loved Pogo. I’m so glad to have found you 🙂
OMG!!! What a compliment! And one I am sure I don’t deserve! 🙂 Thank you!!!
It’s the relationships between your animal characters … reminds me of the kids in the swamp 🙂 And yes, you do deserve it.
I’m not sure what Walt Kelly would think of some of my themes, but I can say it has been fun taking this mishmash of characters I had a few years ago and fleshing out their roles and “fursonas” over the span of 91 6 panel strips…. and counting! I can’t help but smile at some of the comments I get, and yours made my day because I loved Pogo back in my comic strip reading days!
You see? It’s that Walt Kelly influence shining through 🙂
Poor possum
You can tell by his expression he’s getting used to being the ill-fated one now!
LOL, yes indeed
